Last year The Sound of the Xity invaded our fair city over the Qingming Festival, finding its way into every venue with the purpose of exposing as many people to the amazing music scene within China as well as exposing the local market here to what’s available outside of China’s borders. It’s this commitment to the joint development between China and the Western markets that makes Sound of the Xity so damn appealing. On its’ third year now, the event will consist of a three day showcase festival and a two day music industry conference. Banquets, parties, meetings, seminars, interviews and a range of branding activities will make up the thirty-odd subcategories of this urban music theme festival.
